Hi! Welcome to Frontline Forward!
If this is your first time visiting us, you may have noticed that we’re a little different than the other facilities you’ve likely come across.
Frontline Forward began as an initiative to support the extraordinary needs of those in high-risk careers. Our founder, Byran Stevens, is a 30-year Frontline Services Veteran, serving the people of Ontario as a paramedic.
During his career, Bryan treated and transported the most severe trauma patients from vehicles, farming and industrial accidents, pedestrians struck and burn victims of all ages.
In August of 2014, Bryan was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and was no longer able to work as a frontline responder. With the assistance of friends and family, he managed his symptoms and ventured down a new path in his healing journey.
Our family-owned business became a complete health and wellness facility based in Kitchener, Ontario. We assembled the support that our loved ones and community members expressed a need for. Today, we strive to engage actively and give back to the community.
When we opened our door just over a year ago, we never imagined we would end up here. This year has brought a lot of changes. Our centre that was built to offer education and treatment turned into a hub for the community during a time of need.
Back in March, we temporarily closed our doors due to COVID-19 but continued to operate in partnership with the COVID Health Team and several of our local breweries. During this time, we distributed PPEs to local health care workers and first responders sourced from our incredible community members!
For those of you returning after some time, you’ll notice we made a few improvements. We’ve dedicated the same community resources and feedback to enhance our website and better communicate with our members.
Frontline Forward has always remained dedicated to helping our community grow and heal. Now more than ever, it’s essential to stay connected to one another.
As the world changes, we will continue to adapt and remain healthy, safe, and strong.
