KRISANDRA - PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Krisandra Einboden is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Guelph.

 

With 10 years of experience as a first responder, 9 years in policing and 2 years in Fire, Krisandra has developed a strong, firsthand understanding of trauma and high stress environments. This lived experience informs her trauma informed practice and reinforces her belief in resilience, recovery, and meaningful personal growth following adversity.

 

Krisandra is committed to providing a supportive, compassionate, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. She believes genuine connection and feeling understood are essential components of effective and meaningful change. She is passionate about helping clients build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and moving forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

 

Her work integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
